Usability Before Testimony

In life, we often find ourselves sometimes  recommending a particular product or service.  What happens is that in doing so we are liable to make mistakes.  The other day I saw somebody recommending a product of some kind which he have never used himself.  I think it is inappropriate for you to recommend something you have never used.  I have identified the reasons that precipitates us in recommending products and services.  Even by these reasons, you have to USE the product before you TESTIFY.

Answer

When some one you know ask us about a particular product or service, we might tend to respond.  In this instance, if you haven't use it before you don't have anything to offer even if you know some one who has.  The reason is that youn are not in abetter position to recommend.  But if you have used it, you have to give him a good answer because you are a witness.

Assistance

When product or a service is in high demand by people and it reach an extent where it begin to get scarce in  the market, and coincidentally you happen to know where to get it.  In this situation you have to help them get it.

Association

There are times when we find ourselves recommending products and services in order to show people that we use them. It is associating ourselves with them that we want in this situation. We intend to show up and impress.

Admiration

in this time, when we recommend a product or service, it is with the sole aim of our admiration towards it. It is because we so much like the product or service in question.

Accessibiliy

When the product or service is hot in the market.  People are flocking in droves to buy it  in such a way that its demand is greater that its supply. It also hapened that only few people have access to it and you chanced to be among them, then you have to recommend.

Affordability

In this condition the product or the service is very expensive .  People are buying it in higher prices.  You then have the opportunity to know where to buy it at a lower price, then it is good for you to recommend in this situation.

Finally my call for you is don't recommend for people to buy something  you don't have time to use yourself for any reason.

The Solution To Your Immediate Problem

Everything in life is a learning opportunity.  Something happened to me about 4 days ago and I think I will like to share it with my readers.  I was trying to go for a meeting in the morning.  I took a laptop to a friend's house to charge it because there was no light in my side.  I plugged it and left telling my friend to take it to my house and handed it to my mother when he intends go out.

When I came back around 3:30 pm, he did not take it to my home because he was still at home but he had unplugged it, put it in the bag and kept it aside.  I thanked him profusely and left for home. As I reached home, ate m food, said my prayer I switched it on only for me to find out 4% remaining charge in the system.  I was little disappointed at the time but put it back in the bag and kept it.

Then in the evening, I took the system to a brother of mine who is running a business and has a generator.  As I took the battery out I saw SOMETHING which is the purpose of wring this post. My friend, even though he don't have a laptop, he has done some thing which I have to learn on the spot.  He has used something which is tied to the battery to fasten the battery wire.  This is what I never knew it existed let alone knowing its function..  I have been wrapping the battery with the wire all this time in an uninteresting manner. From that time I know how to fasten it securely.

It happens in virtually every situation or instance of our life, that a solution to our immediate problem is there right close to our eyes but we never know. There is one Hausa proverb that said, "There is a medicine in a boy's farm, but he didn't know".  You have to know that every problem in life has a solution otherwise it will not be a problem.

Let me switched you on because like me, you may not have the gift of the gab to understand a medicine in your farmyard.  It may just be a flower that you have to pluck out and put it in your mouth and ypur recovery is instantaneous!  Here are the ways to find a solution to your problems:

1.  OBSERVE:  Observe your surrounding.  Wherever you are and whatever you are doing, take notes of everything you can see with your naked eyes.  There is power in observation.

2.  ASK QUESTIONS.  Ask question about everything because any possible question has a possible answer.  Ask and get the answer to your problem.

3.  READ.  We are not a reading society. I have zeroed in on the fact that there is nothing you cannot learn if you are willing to flip the pages.  There are secrets in books, solutions in contents, tips in chapters, facts in paragraphs and meanings in glossaries.  Don't miss them!

The Prizes Of Punctuality

     Alarm Clock and Gift Box

One of the pressing problems facing our society is now is the inability of people to be punctual on different occasions.  These occasions varied to things like going to work, attending a meeting, keeping an appointment and a whole lot more.  In this part of the world, it has come to a situation where this problem is dubbed as "AFRICAN TIME".

I want you to follow me and see some of the derivable benefits that being punctual results in:

-RESPECT.  If you take your time to develop punctuality as a habit, people will begin to see you as a respectable person.  This is because whenever they count on you, you won't let them down.  And this doesn't only stay with people, you too can begin to respect yourself because you know deep down inside you know that you are a person who attend every matter as at when due.  Punctuality is what will guarantee how people respect you in their eyes.

-SERIOUS-MINDED.  By the time people realize that you are a punctual person, it will become clear o them that you are serious in all your affairs.  The will want to associate with you and will recommend people to do business with you.  This is practical as people are known to hate those who doesn't take things seriously.  Did you know that even people who are not serious loves so much to do business with people who are serious?

-DON'T MISS OPPORTUNITIES.  When you set out your mind to be punctual, you have actually set out your mind to grab opportunities that would have otherwise slipped you clutches.  A punctual person is in fact a functional person ready to grab and use any potential opportunity available.  In meetings, most of the people who get the most details are punctual people.  And most of the time it is these kind of people that use the information discussed in the meeting at the right time because their mind has been conditioned to be TIME CONSCIOUS.

-WINNING PRIZES.  One thing i like with punctuality is that it attracts recognition through gifts.  This may be either in form of cash or kind.  there are organizations that gives prizes to their workers monthly because of punctuality.

-YOU'LL BE SET AS ROLE MODEL.  Once you are punctual, people will start to borrow leaf from you.  Punctuality is the virtue of greatness.  this will help you as you will re-commit your efforts because you know people are looking towards you to copy from you.
